The Nonantum Resort has been awarded the Gold status as a TripAdvisor GreenLeader since 2015. We are honored to be continually recognized for having excellent environmental practices throughout our resort by the Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR program, the U.S. Green Building Council and the United Nations Environment Programme.
Joel Stevens Community Spirit Award
At the Kennebunk-Kennebunkport-Arundel Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Dinner, our General Manager Tina Hewett-Gordon was honored with the Joel Stevens Community Spirit Award.

BEST PLACES TO WORK IN MAINE
The Nonantum Resort was recently named as one of the 2022 Best Places to Work in Maine. The awards program was created in 2006 and is a project of the Society for Human Resource Management – Maine State Council (MESHRM) and Best Companies Group. Partners endorsing the program include: Mainebiz, the Maine State Chamber of Commerce, the Maine Department of Labor, the Department of Economic and Community Development and Maine HR Convention. To date, we have proudly received this award 7 times!
Tourism Leadership & Growth Award
At the Maine Governor’s Conference on Tourism, The Nonantum Resort received the Award for Tourism Leadership & Growth. The Nonantum’s Fire + Ice event, which draws nearly 3,000 visitors to Kennebunkport in mid-December, has helped to expand the second weekend of Christmas Prelude and the economic benefits to the area.
