In addition to providing a job, we coach our employees through workplace challenges and assist them in obtaining things such as photo identification, bank accounts, housing, and transportation. Further, The Nonantum is wholly invested in helping our employees achieve their personal goals. We have guided Raising People Up participants through reestablishing relationships with their families, finding and affording significant dental work, paying off fines, receiving drivers’ licenses, purchasing vehicles, and more.
Post-Release: We do not believe a mistake from the past defines a person’s character, nor should it drive the trajectory of their future. By hiring non-violent offenders we are actively working to break barriers and reduce the stigma associated with periods of incarceration.
