Ariel, here! I started at the Nonantum in the Spring of 2012 as a Front Desk Agent and am now making the transition into the Sales & Marketing Office as the Group Sales Assistant. With this transition comes many new and exciting opportunities like coordinating events and assisting with the much anticipated Paddle Battle and Fire & Ice. Currently though, my duties include but are not limited to, painting, office design, and furniture assembly. Everyone at the Nonantum really does follow our mantra of “Whatever It Takes”!
It has been a long winter and an even longer start to Spring here at the Nonantum, but things are in full swing as we get ready to open our doors to our wonderful guests. We are bringing the resort back to its original glory complete with refurbished Victorian light fixtures throughout the lobby. For our returning guests, you are in for a tremendous surprise! For anyone who hasn’t been here before, the Nonantum will surely exceed your expectations. Don’t be surprised if it is love at first sight.
With several different crews hard at work, the Carriage House Inn is getting a much needed total makeover as we replace hallway carpets, refinish the hardwood, and bring in fresh furniture. I think we will be hosting plenty of events in our new ballroom!

Next door, the Portside Lodge balconies are totally refreshed and it looks like a whole new building! Can’t you just imagine sipping a cool drink on a warm summer evening out on your own private balcony? Wait until you see 354, a room fit for a king!

Along with all of the other projects, we have also made some changes to the administrative offices and we are so thrilled to have finally moved! Making the move to our new offices has helped us become more organized and efficient, which, in turn, gives us the tools to create an even more wonderful guest experience. We plan on keeping our spot as the #1 hotel in Kennebunkport on TripAdvisor!
